Philosophy of Roast 'n Blend

Tastes differ. Also with coffee. One likes spicy and bitter, the other creamy and sweet. The origin of the bean, the type, the roast, the blend: it all influences the taste. But how do you know which coffee is right for you?

I like to compare it to wine. Over the years you gradually learn what you like; Red or white, dry or sweet, slightly sour or round. A somewhat experienced wine drinker can eventually make a careful guess on the wine list which wine he/she likes. But how does this work with coffee? Do you have to have dark roast or light roast. Do the beans from Guatemala suit you better, or Vietnam? Do you prefer the Arabica bean, or rather the Robusta?
 
I am a real coffee lover. I love the smell of freshly brewed coffee in my kitchen. And the first spicy sip refreshes me. Delicious. Few people know what they really like; which coffee they would go through the fire for. In the meantime I have found out which beans, roast and mix best suit my taste preference. I wish everyone that mouth-watering sensation.
